Ayotte joined Palin in spreading lies and misinformation about health care reform. She whole-heartedly pushed the GOP plan to give insurance companies control of our health care, and now she wants to repeal health care reform.

Paul Hodes on health care: "Health insurance reform will provide tax cuts for thousands of small businesses, prevent kids from being locked out of their doctor's office, and prevent Americans from being kicked off their insurance plans when they get sick."

Joining Palin on the anti-choice honor roll, Kelly Ayotte went all the way to the Supreme Court to defend legislation that was so stridently anti-choice that the New Hampshire courts had ruled it unconstitutional. And, she's been made an anti-choice poster-girl by the Susan B. Anthony List.

Paul Hodes on choice: "A woman’s right to choose is a matter of fundamental liberty. I believe women – not Washington politicians – should be free to make health care decisions in consultation with their doctors."

While Sarah Palin was busy blaming environmentalists for the disastrous Gulf Spill, Kelly Ayotte chose to join her and stand up for BP and Big Oil instead of New Hampshire. Ayotte refused to take drilling in New Hampshire off the table.

Paul Hodes on drilling: "I will never vote to allow drilling off the coast of my state, period. Our coastal environment, fishing, and tourism are for more important than Big Oil's bottom line."

Like Palin, Kelly "Granite Grizzly" Ayotte failed to live up to a promise she made to the people of New Hampshire – that she would serve out her full term as Attorney General – and quit just three months into her second term to pursue her own political ambitions.

Paul Hodes on public service: "I got my start in public service working for then-attorney general David Souter. He taught me that independence and integrity are paramount, and that I answer to the people I represent, no one else."
